FITNESS MANTRA

HEALTH as defined in the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION constitution is a state of complete physical,mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
We the 21st century people are well aware of our physical fitness but it is incomplete unless we are completely fit mentally also.Mental well being of a person determines both his physical and social fitness.For our physical fitness we acquire different measures like going to a gym or playing some outdoor games and blah blah blah.But these measures are of no use for our mental fitness.The only thing and the sole way to be mentally strong is the practice of YOGA on regular basis.YOGA is the thing that creates an internal balance in our body,be it the hormone level,activities of vital organs,and lead us to the path of ETERNITY.This will take us into a state of peace,satisfaction and will also help us in giving our 100% to the work/job we are doing.When we are mentally strong we will be able to keep our self physically and socially fit.So practising yoga will fulfill all the three basic requirements of total and complete HEALTH as described in the definition in the constitution of WHO.

TERRORISM

Hi friends yet another time our country witnessed another inhuman act in the face serial bomb blast that took place in Jaipur.According to some news agencies approximately 70 peoples were killed in that blasts and more than three times are injured heavily.Within past one or two years at least five cases of this kind of serial bombing has taken place,this is certainly a case of embarrassment for us as to a some extent we are also responsible for this kind of activities.Now you will be thinking how,so, let me explain this,we are so busy with are schedules and works that almost we are living a solitary life.We are not careful about our surroundings,take for example whenever we are out for marketing or travelling or to theatres etc we overlook the parsons we come across.we hardly follow some simple rules like looking beneath our seats in picture halls etc.Next time whenever you are in such areas just follow these rules please it will only help us in eradicating these kind of activities up to some extent and we will be able to save lives of many peoples of our country.

HEALTH & FITNESS

Today while going through the newspaper I found an interesting column which says that the discrepancies in the health of a person nowadays is mainly due to the changes in food habits along with various facilities and luxury which are easily available to us.Regarding the food habits the most harmful one is JUNK or FAST FOOD which is responsible for various diseases of which OBESITY,DIABETES&BLOOD PRESSURE are prime examples.These three diseases are the precursors leading to various other ailments like coronary heart diseases,kidney problems etc.The luxury items like t.v,computer etc has reduced our physical activities,computer games has limited children to their household.Their interest in outdoor games has declined considerably.This is drastic situation and something has to be thought of to get rid of this.
